The theme of the webinar is<br \/>\nthe Development of COVID-19 Handling in ASEAN and the European Union . The Director of<br \/>\nAmerican and European Intra-regional and Inter-regional Cooperation Masni Eriza, and the<br \/>\nDirector of ASEAN Socio-Cultural Cooperation Riaz Januar Putra Saehu, were present as<br \/>\nspeakers representing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and LSPR Academician Sri Tunggul<br \/>\nPannindrya as reviewer. The event was hosted by the Head of CAPRS LSPR Communication<br \/>\nand Business Institute Yuliana R. The European Union and ASEAN countries,<br \/>\nincluding Indonesia, have helped each other regulate the return of their nationals stranded<br \/>\nabroad due to territorial restrictions. &amp;quot;The European Union in the context as a unit or as a<br \/>\nlarge entity, where the European Commission as an executive agency, helps its member<br \/>\nstates obtain medical equipment. Among them, the application of the<br \/>\nCOVID-19 emergency status, restrictions on foreign arrivals, prohibition of mass meetings,<br \/>\nclosure \/ reduction of flight frequencies, restrictions on domestic mobility, independent<br \/>\nisolation policies, and the imposition of additional requirements for new migrants. He added<br \/>\nthat in the ASEAN collective response, member countries had held the Special ASEAN<br \/>\nSummit on Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) on May 14, 2020, and several other<br \/>\nsectoral coordinating meetings to accelerate the resolution of the COVID-19 issue. &amp;quot;Study<br \/>\nmaterial related to biodiversity and zoonosis is also an important matter as input for socio-<br \/>\neconomic policy making. This is an effort to prevent and mitigate a pandemic &amp;quot;, he stressed.<br \/>\nIn this webinar, reviewers from the LSPR Communication &amp;amp; Business Institute Academics<br \/>\nsuggested that the concept of Coordinated Multilateral Response should be emphasized and<br \/>\nstudied further in international relations. Tunggul stated, &amp;quot;The concept emphasizes the<br \/>\nneed for coordination in the multilateralism order so that the handling of an international<br \/>\nissue, such as pandemic prevention and mitigation, can run synergistically and<br \/>\nharmoniously 866 participants joined this webinar, consisting of LSPR students and students from various<br \/>\nUniversities in Indonesia, both Strata-1 (S1) and Strata-2 (S2) levels. In addition, academics,<br \/>\nmedia, professionals and alumni of the 2019 ASEAN-Indonesia Young Ambassador were also<br \/>\npresent as participants.
